Mr. Wonderful Quote Du Jour Award: June 25
Permalink Closed

The Selection Committee for Mr. Wonderful's Quote Du Jour Award had an exceedingly difficult time selecting today's recipient. The Committee asked Mr. Wonderful to thank foot soldier for nominating Invictus' dynamic and thought-provoking statement. For a time, as the Committee deliberated behind closed doors in its smoke-filled room, it appeared that Invictus, as nominated by foot soldier, would be today's recipient. But just as the Selection Committee was about to declare Invictus the winner, and adjourn to JavaWerks, MaderMathRevisited posted a very clever numerological analysis as to why the book title Exit 65 has every bit as much charm for the new book as the title Exit 13 had for the old book. So congratulations to today's winner, MaderMathRevisited, for this numerololgical quote:

"Well, wait a minute...6+5=11 and 1+1=2 and 11+2=13 so maybe it works after all."

Congratulations, MaderMathRevisited.

My spouse is telling me that my life is truly sad that this would be the high point of my day...but it is!!!  Thank you!

Congratulations, MMR!   A well deserved award! You should build upon this success and your life experiences, and seek a PhD in numerology from USM, or maybe even American World University.

Mr. Wonderful's Risk Manager would like to advise readers that it was Phoenix who suggested that any sequel to Exit 13 be named Exit 65.

Thank you , Mr. WRM.  And please tell Mr W. himself that he is doing a great job, and is a source of yet another way for us all to keep ourselves enlivened on the message board this summer.

I took your advice and have already started earning my PhD in economic development numerology on-line.  Seems that my superior math skills and Mr. Wonderful Quote du Jour Award bought me a lot of life experience credit.   If I stay focused and "on the team" and my check clears, I ought to have the new degree by Wednesday.  Thanks for all the encouragement.  BTW, who is this Dr. Richard Hadden, MD and why is he serving on my committtee?

Well done!  You will be Dr. MMR soon!  Are you interested in a faculty position at USM?  I hear there are openings in economic development and your talent with numerology will be highly valued!   I am not sure who this Dr. Hadden is, but you know that most MD's are very good at bidness stuff.  Rest assured that the governance and accreditation bodies (Graduate Council, SACS, etc) for USM  must have approved him! This is not the time to worry about such trifles, though as it slows down the wheels of progress. SMTT!
