1. Word from domer is that everyone should listen for ancillary parts of today's dome press conference about more university restructuring.  If things go forward, there might be a few other tidbits of interesting change.  Thanks domer (and ntsft).

2. Stories coming out of CBED now that the chairs are "putting out" many conflicting "stories" about how CBED's share of the 6% tuition increase raises will be parceled out.  Many of the stories fail to mention HD's "plans."  Thanks compaq.

3. News from mclubber is that some SEC schools are showing interest in CP.  So much so that some of his friends are reportedly advising him to get out now while the gettin's good.  We'll see.  Thanks mclubber (and thank baller too).

4. ntsft reports that the administrators (across campus) will do very well with the "merit" raises this time around.  Many of you have probably already heard this, and this could be fueling increasing "PR" attempts by chairs this time to assure faculty they will be "treated fairly."  Thanks ntsft.

5. Word coming out of CoH that they now have 2 "in over our heads" administrators running things there.  Looks like, if things break right, alot of future mills will deal with problems in the CoH.  Thanks grapevine.
