    "The Mississippi Parole Board is scheduled to meet today to take up the case of Clyde Kennard.  Specifically, the board will consider whether to recommend that Gov. Haley Barbour grant Kennard a posthumous pardon.  ...

    Nearly a dozen governors in other states have issued pardons posthumously.

    And four ex-governors of our state are speaking out on Kennard's behalf and urging Barbour to grant one for Kennard."
