1. Word from the dome is that Thames is really stung by the announcement that GS was to become an Aggie this fall.  Was caught by surprise at the impressive move by GS.  Thanks grapevine.

2. Stories are coming out of the admissions area that enrollment problems, they are a comin'.  This is something we've been on the tail of, and will continue to be.  Thanks gorod, and keep us updated.

3. Rumors from the COAL about some administrative shakeups in the near future.  People moving around/being shuffled around wholesale.  Thanks grapevine and artsy.

4. mclubber reports from Athlons football magazine again that predictions have USM playing for bowl eligibility on the 11th and final game of the year.  In other words, they predict that it's likely USM will win 6 of 11 games this year.  Good enough for SFT?  Not likely, we hear.  Thanks again for the football prediction tips mclubber.

5.  Further word from mclubber that USM athletics have "locked up" most of the future luxury boxes is pie in the sky.  Says that maybe one box is actually anywhere close to "locked up."  Looks like many more tax dollars might be necessary to get the project of the ground.  If so, expect the project to be scaled down to just football stuff.  Thanks mclubber.
