My breakfast with truth was very productive. She's an impressive person. In fact, I carried with me a letter from Judge Cooley who asked that I present it to truth should I feel that she would be an asset to TCLS. Well, as you might have guessed, I presented it to her at breakfast. Inside the envelope was a generous offer to her to preside as Dean of the Honors College at TCLS upon completion of her graduate studies at USM. I am waiting her reply (she has 2 months).
We both worked through breakfast all the way past lunch, all the while keeping up with the board on our laptops. She was very interested in some of the product from past surveillance on Jamestown Road (especially the snapshops of the Depends out by the road).
My associate checked in with me today. It seems a plan we put in motion last week is now underway. We placed a call to SFT's office last week indicating that an NCATE visitor would be in this week doing some preliminary work. He was uninterested, and directed our caller (imposter) to call the CISE department head. Well, this morning our agent showed up at the round building --- it is Mrs. Cooley. When SFT saw her in his doorway, he promptly indicated that he was personally in charge of all NCATE efforts for the College of Education & Psychology. They spent the entire day together going over dossiers and reports. They went to lunch at the Purple Parrot, and he invited her back for drinks tonight. He has no idea who she really is. Now, we can put part of our scheme into action. She's taken some very interesting photos with her cell phone. I hope to paste some on in the next few days.
Let's wish her luck and safety in this effort for us/the cause. She's in the trenches, behind enemy lines.
Like I told you over the tall stack, I'll only agree to be Dean of the TCLS HC if I can negotiate that $250K signing bonus. When Judge Cooley can bring out the big bucks, then we can talk! It's nice to be wanted, though....
Enjoyed our meeting and also thought it was very productive. Looking forward to the "photographic evidence" from the newest surveillance mission in the 'burg.

Gee, I hope Mrs. Cooley is drinking club soda or Shirley Temples. If she's pregnant, she really shouldn't be drinking. Or maybe she has an arrangement with the bartender, so that her drinks don't actually have alcohol in them. The bartender is probably the Risk Manager's associate.
