"Mary Nell McNeese, also co-chair for the QEP lead team, said last week she is excited to be sharing the university’s plan with SACS members during their review. She said she thinks they will be pleased.

“We didn’t have many other examples to go by, limiting our outside help,” she said. “We’ve created our own unique plan, and we’re ready to share it with SACS.”

"Pierce also said the plan was developed after SACS mandated the requirement for accreditation in 2001, but the change is not related to the university’s brief academic probation in December 2004."
