Preparations continue regarding H. Ross Perot's visit to Hattiesburg. Proceeds from the formal evening affair will go to the Department of Management and Marketing.
Congratulations to Betsy Rowell on joining the CoB as the Director of the newly created Business Assistance Center (BAC). The new BAC should not be confused with the original BAC (Business Advisory Council). The Business Assistance Center is a representative body of dues-paying College of Business supporters. The Business Advisory Council is a publicly-supported agency that assists small businesses develop and grow.

The end of the academic year is fast approaching. All department chairs with requests for funding are urged to provide a bottom-line to the Dean's office so that remaining booze account balances can be tapped before heading into next year.
