Congrats to last night's winner of the BellSouth Outstanding Faculty Award.  The winner was mobbed after the event by parents, BSAC members, and other honors students.  They thanked him for offering a course lab and for saving the real estate major. 

Unlike past years and other Deans, Doty has still not sent an e-mail congratulations to last night's faculty award winner(s).  In fact, reports are he hasn't even offered an in-person "congratulations" or a handshake to the BellSouth winner.

From another thread on this site, it seems that congratulations should be extended to a CoBer for garnering the highest USM faculty raise ($26,000) since August of this academic year.  The amount, if accurate, is more than 50% larger than Jeff Bower's recent raise.  Wow!  Not only has CoB not been to a bowl game in several years, AACSB reaffirmation is hanging by a thread.

CoB Graduate Assistants are now packing up their belongings.  Let them know how much you appreciate the years of service they and their predecessors gave to the College when you see them.  They will be missed.

College FAR reports via Sedona are due by April 10, the day of the annual evaluation of faculty.  Be sure to get yours completed and submit it before the due date, otherwise your evaluation will be based solely upon Doty's "professional judgment."  You don't want that.
