COLUMBUS - Mississippi University for Women President Claudia Limbert is among four finalists for the top post at East Central University in Oklahoma.

"If you are half-way successful as president, you tend to get nominated for things," Limbert told the Daily Journal on Thursday to confirm Limbert's finalist status at the Ada, Okla., school....

...Said Mississippi Higher Education Commissioner Tom Meredith: "Dr. Limbert has kept the board informed every step of the way."

Is it a possibility that Limbert is an EEOC candidate?  Put a woman in you final four and it makes your hiring process look better.  East Central??  Is that better than the W?  Methinks this is a red herring in toto.
