The "Sweden" plan is already catching on. At least one other CoB faculty is now MIA due to the deal.
More departures on the way in economics and/or finance. Good news, though. News spreading that one of the vacant econ positions was taken by Doty and given to management. That should ease the burden on the search team. One less vacancy to fill.
CoB students now signing forms to advise themselves. JGH 110 still same size. Look for the AL staff to grow some over the next few weeks.
Work on first floor of JGH still ongoing. The site for H. Ross Perot's visit will likey be outsourced. Eight days into the CoB's 8W2 schedule and students are still adding classes. Are they worried about having missed the equivalent of 3 weeks? Nah.
Announcement: MIS/TM students, the orchestra has already started playing "Pomp and Circumstance" for the last time on your behalf. Get your things together and graduate before your majors are gone.
It might be that the MIS/TM faculty are quietly applying for jobs to get out. Anyone know if this is taking place?
Johye Hwang, Assistant Prof of TM, resigned recently. Going to Missouri. I heard that an Assist Prof in MIS is about to announce soon. TM lost two last year --- one to Western Carolina and the other to South Carolina, Hilton Head.
