ATTN: UNIVERSITY RESEARCHERS AND SCIENTISTS

The University of Southern Mississippi will be co-sponsoring an Intellectual
Property Forum and Technology Expo, along with other Mississippi universities
and the Mississippi Technology Alliance, September 16-17, 2004, in Jackson,
Miss.

This meeting is designed to bring university researchers together with
business leaders and venture capitalists to present company ideas and unique
technologies available for licensing and explore opportunities for
collaborative research to solve real business problems.

One of the highlights of this event will be a poster session where university
researchers will be able to showcase their technologies currently available
for licensing, as well as ongoing research efforts, and to discuss areas of
interest with business leaders and venture capitalists.

Our goal is to have as many participants from Southern Miss presenting as
possible. We hope this will be an excellent opportunity to find funding for
current research, as well as to potentially cultivate relationships that may
lead to new opportunities for research projects with business and industry in
Mississippi.
