What would it take for the music department to bring back a bagpipe corp?
I see a poll attached so I will ask how many folks would be interested. An old friend, the late Dr. Nancy Tatum and Dr. Paul Ginn were interested in brigning them back a few years ago.
Forget the bagpipes, man. Not in this humidity. Let's just take over The Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps from Casper, WY and bring 'em to Hattiesburg! The first couple 'o thousand cost is on me.

LVN has said that there is a thread out there on a Bud Ginn. LVN is giving up this board for Lent and I am new and don't understand why we now have a GIC (Ginn Idenity Crisis) to deal with.
Ace, maybe you can fill in for LVN and clarify what one needs to hold while playing bagpipes. Also, can one participate in clogging whle playing a bagpipe?

Other than having an interest in bringing the bagpipe corps back as per Ace Barker's post, how does he relate to the important issues discussed on this board?

Where is the poll? This is the kind of cultural and intellectual discussion that we need on this board. Can the person that started this at least furnish us with a poll?
