I have visited this board for about a year now.  I have read all of the posts about the fall of USM and I agree that it is not the same institution it was a few years ago.  It is disturbing and depressing for me as an alumnus.  My questions to those on this board are:

  1. What can and/or must be done to return USM to where it was 5-6 years ago?

  2. How long do you think that process will take?

  3. I know that SFT is supposedly gone after 2007, so a change in leadership is probably imminent.  What kind of president is needed?

I realize that these questions are very simplistic and many other factors affect USM's fate (e.g., IHL, State politics, etc.).  However, I am interested in the things over which we seemingly have some control.
