How long will it be before the white folks who live in Hattiesburg turn loose of the reins? Most have already moved to Oak Grove. Why don't you just incorporate Oak Grove and leave Hattiesburg to people who actually live in Hattiesburg?

I'm not sure how Oak Grove had anything to do with the city council vote?

This is classic college professor finance: Raise our sales tax 1% and save us 40 million bucks. Why not raise it more and it'll be free.
