If it is supposed to be public knowledge, it would be.  I will only say it was an adjunct.

It was an adjunct but it will not be made public from what I have heard because it is just more bad news for us.

Very frequently such terminations are not made public as part of the terms of the, um, separation. There are a variety of legal reasons not to make a general public disclosure & "bad news for us" really isn't high on that list, although some of the things that are high on the list can be very bad news, so to speak.
