It was a so-so day.  The softball team is losing every time you turn around (lost twice just today).  10 total losses is already just around the corner and the season just started.  Giannini is going to have to face the fact that a coaching change is needed there.  Sad too because this is truly the only program USM has had that has stood on the verge of an NCAA title.  No more Lou Harris. 

The Lady Eagles beat perhaps the worst team in I-A tonight.  Remember that Memphis is the program that McNelis "built."

The baseball win today was a very good thing.  Wichita State was #25 in the nation.  A poster on here once said that USM sports was a horde of losing in between a good baseball program and a decent football one (ala Seinfeld).  That's accurate.
