In yesterday's HA, Torris Magee (WR, Oak Grove) said he was excited about the new stadium in coming to USM.  He thinks he will play in it.  Are football officials lying to prospects about the possibility of playing in the new stadium.  The Trent Lott Bldg will be ready before that.

I would not doubt it one bit if they were being lied to. In the early 90's when I was being recruited, I was told that an on campus track would be finished by my soph. year. Needless to say, I would have had to of been on a six year plan to run on a finished track. Hopefully the stadium will be done in the next couple of years, but i would not be surprised it is not.

What's the status on the Union expansion? Will they ever finish it? Seems like that's another project that has taken forever to finish (already been 3 years). Seems like there will have been an entire class at USM who will only know the Student Union as something which is "under construction".
