I wonder how Gregg Lassen's departure will impact the outsourcing discussion. If Ken Malone becomes CFO, even on an interim basis, I suspect he will resume his role as "hatchet man" to carry out desired changes (including outsourcing) as he did as Gulf Coast COO and during his brief stint overseeing the reorganization of continuing education programs. Malone as CFO (or in a newly created COO position for that matter) would take care of the SACS concern of him being an academic chair in a department out of his field.
