Kendaris Pelton has been suspended indefinitely from the basketball team.  In the 7 games he has played, he has started four.  The reason given was supposedly conduct detrimental to the team.  He won't likely return.  This is the first departure. 


Someone predicted here that we would begin seeing this over the break.

Pelton announced yesterday that he intends to transfer.  Shaun Simpson, another top player, has took a "leave of absence" from the team a couple of days ago.  They don't know when (or if) he will return.

Should not have left "has" in second sentence.  It was "has taken a 'leave of absence'...", but I changed it to "took a 'leave of absence' ... a couple of days ago" to give some of the timeline.  I forgot to delete "has" in doing that.
