President of MSU to retire


After months of whispers and rumors, Charles Lee made it official Monday when he announced he was retiring as president of the state's largest university before the end of classes next spring....

College Board President Virginia Shanteau Newton asked board member Ed Blakeslee to chair the search committee and Roy Klumb, D.E. Magee, Bettye Neely and Scott Ross to serve on it. None could be reached for comment late Monday....

Maybe they will form another search committee for SFT and leave Roy Klumb and Scott Ross off of it since they will be busy with this committee.
