From what I heard and saw (charts) yesterday, the Summer Research Grant program for this year looks to be done for.  This is a real shame.


On another note, judging by activity on campus yesterday this is shaping up to be a fine Christmas at the Lawrence Warren home.  They ripping/paving away again all over campus.  "Hey Lawrence, got grant money?"

What a shame. Let's hope this isn't true. A lot of good research was completed through the support of these grants.

The $160,000 for administrative raises had to come form somewhere.

I thought raises beyond a certain amount had to be approved by a higher authority such as the IHL. At least that's the way it should be. If there is no system of checks and balances in matters governing raises our friendly taxpayers are in a heap of trouble. If the IHL endorsed those raises then they should be held equally accountable.
