The state benefits when students graduate from college with more than just a high school education. I heard that in the CoST students with 5 academic suspensions are being readmitted in order to keep the numbers up. From his response to a question at the Faculty Senate meeting President Thames doesn't know (or won't acknowledge) that quality has been sacrificed for quantity for many years now.
