One Member of the Southern Miss men's track and Field team and three members of the Women's team will be participating in the NCAA national championships June 8-11. One of the Ladies Eagles (Tanika Liburd) is ranked 4th in her event (out of 28-29 participants).

That's not enough participation to be able to gain Final 4 status as a team on either side.

Who cares, I am happy that we have these young people representing our University and working towards a championship.

What can we expect if he does not?  What is your word worth?

Coach E has been in the thick of it before with Iowa State.  He's making some great moves.  The first recruiting class didn't pan out, so he exited some guys and doubled up on the second class this spring.  Got a stellar collection of new players.  USM will dominate C-USA within 2 years and Coach E will sign a long-term contract to show his commitment to USM/.

A. loss of job
B divorce
C. substance abuse treatment

i wish larry the best, however he has lost some focus since Iowa State simply because of the changes in his life in last 3 years

seems to me winning a final 4 wouldnt cancel A,B&C

In outdoor track & field, Arkansas won the whole thing on the men's side.  LSU finished in the final 4.  On the women's side, Tennessee finished in the Final 4.

None of the USM men/women made the finals, so no points were scored for the Eagles.
