Southern Miss is #2 seed in Oxford

This doesn't bode well for USM. I have seen USM, Oklahoma, and Ole Miss play in "games that matter" 'this year, and I think USM is dangerously close to being "two and out" in this regional. Despite the midweek split with Ole Miss, the Rebels are way out of USM's league this year. I also think the Sooners' tougher conference experience will show up here. USM may win 1, but I think they'll end up 1-2 at best.

I would tend to agree. Corky Palmer did a fantastic coaching job this year considering our youth (started 6 freshmen at one time) and all of the injuries on the pitching staff. I say 1-2 in this regional but look out for us next year.
