The USM as UNLV needs to be consistently looked at.  They've been doing for a long time where we are going.  The more we know about UNLV, the more we'll be able to understand where we will eventually be. 

I'm also assuming USM is pretty much a lost cause as a university.  The above then follows.  The  problem is I can't know exactly what to do if no one tells me where we're going.  I'm spending a good bit of time now researching UNLV to better understand how to perform in my remaining years here.
