Question about Cox-Purvis Report
Permalink Closed

This is an open board and I'm all for that. Don't have to read anything I don't want to. Still, it seems like the CPR provokes a lot of trolling. It might be good to know whether the posters think having the report is worth the hassle.

If Truth is willing, would she be okay with us emailing her with our opinions on this, and she could present the information to C-P? Could we do it that way and get a sense of how everybody feels about it. Why don't we do that instead of duking it out on the board?

Truth? What do you think?

I wouldn't call it trolling, I think the responses are from those of us trying to correct the blatant lies and half truths that are often posted in the report.

I'm not proposing it be banned or anything, just that if enough people think it's a source of trouble, that we can ask them to voluntarily stop. That's why I suggested it be a kind of survey.

If the responses point out the errors then there is no need to call them "lies". How many response do not address the facts, but attack to posters instead.  These are trolls, however I don't see a way to keep bored high school students from posting.  I say, "Keep the report".

Correction/info/Concerned, why don't you pick another team (USC, or someone) to pull for.  You'll be happier more.  And, you can be happy about wins rather than attendance numbers in one particular sport.
