I've posted an update on Liberty and Power about last Friday's closed session of the Board and Thames' efforts to save his presidency with his $14,000 brochure.
I'm slightly more optimistic than I was a week ago, though I would like to see a stronger margin against Thames on the Board than the 7-5 that seems most likely at the present time.
Robert, excellent job. At the end, do you suppose Thames meant that 98% of frosh from '03-'04 returned for '04-'05? Even if, I bet the stat is way off.
rc--i agree. given it was a presentation at a group in the Waynesboro area, i'm not sure who the local paper hires as reporters. my reading of the story indicates the reporter took notes at the meeting; didn't necessarily interview individually. contextually (according to the story) it is consistent with the brochure and what i've heard on campus about honors.
