But the page itself is still online at http://www.usm.edu/president/index.html. The last president's letter is from Feb. 21. The last PUC minutes are dated Feb. 9. The only cabinet minutes ever posted are three entries from July 2004.
It looks like someone may have again lost interest in even the appearance of communication.
This is all as predicted a while back by a poster who claimed to be passing on what was circulating in the Dome.
Thames has obviously decided that pretending to communicate with the faculty and staff of USM won't increase his chances of staying on the throne for another four years.
I'm sure he's right about that.
It would be nice if Thames has given up on pretending to communicate because he has less than a snowball's chance in hell of getting his contract extended.
At any rate, it's time for faculty bodies to demand a lot of communication out of Thames and what's left of his crew... and keep up the demand until none of them remains in an administrative position at USM.
I seem to remember the admin. making a big deal about the PUC in the beginning. if its been disbanded, some attention should be drawn to this...letters to the editor?

You can find the minutes at http://www.usm.edu/president/pc_mins_arch.html. The last ones posted are for February. The March minutes were to be approved at the April meeting, which was cancelled.
so....meeting for...how long? an hour or two....once a month...for how many months? four ...five? except april which was cancelled...and if i recall correctly, one meeting ended early? this is supposed to "improve communication with the faculty?"
