Don't know if 2003 includes Spring 2003. Andrew Suthland left the Theatre Department in Spring 2003

There are lots of us who left in May, 2003, but we don't get to be on the list.

Retired Prof--I have tried to make this point too. The Thames' administration is responsible for departures that have never been acknowledged by this list. There are even some who left in April 2003 because of Thames. I can think of at least 3 faculty who left from a single department in April and May who have NEVER been counted on any list on this message board.

The faculty who took the first steps to leave as soon as Thames came on board have never been listed because they don't fall into the academic calendar.

I just want to make sure Thames' gets all the "credit" he deserves.

I once suggested that a specific cutoff date be given for inclusion on the last but that never happened.

Let's try to figure out the very first person who left because of Thames. He became prez May 1, 2002 or was it June? Who was the first person he tore into? Let's make it a complete history, a complete telling . . .

Library/Information Science: Rosemary Chance; Jerri Hall; Dolores Jones

These are not the same entities. The School of Library and Information Science (which is part of Ed-Psych) has lost one person: Rosemary Chance

The library has lost Jerri Hall, Dolores Jones, an archivist and a number of others.

I agree that those who left at the end of the academic year 2003 (May) should be included on this list. Dr.Muriel Azria-Evans in Child and Family Studies and her husband Dr. Ronnie Evans in HPR left due to Thames. Dr. Mike Melton in Finance and his wife Kathryn Melton, staff in Family Consumer Sciences left as well. They all left due to this administration. Thames should get every bit of credit he deserves.

Wouldn't it be great if we knew the percentage of faculty loss per department? Reading over this list puts me in a dark mood.
