Heard from 3 sources this weekend that Doty has been offered a regular faculty position.  The sources are split on the potential destination.  Here's the kicker: the destination would be either Ole Miss or State (according to these sources).

Here's what I know:


We were semi-finalist at Florida State, but missed the finalist cut.  We were finalist at North Florida, but rumor is the other guy got it.  We missed first round cut at Southeastern Louisiana, and we got cut early at regional school in UGA system.  We're still waiting on North Texas.  Have you heard about us at Texas El Paso?


I'm not at liberty to speak about the regular faculty position yet.

I would gladly trade my position for a position at William Carey anyday - even at a salary reduction.
