Well the headline might get a few false hopes up, but it's a nice article anyway. One point stands out in my mind: Ms. Ross chairs or serves on 38 committees! Is this correct?
I serve on only four committees and about half a dozen boards. Sometimes, I think the paying job is a hobby, for all the time I get to work on it. If Ms. Ross is representative of the "extra" time you academic types put in, my hat is off to you all.

Maybe it should have read that she "has chaired or served on 38 committees?" That would make more sense. Though, I've worked with Barbara Ross before, and she's a powerhouse, so it wouldn't surprise me if she's currently on 38 committees!
