According to the full page ad in the HA, the number of Honors College students with ACT scores of 31 or higher increased from 17 in 2003 to 31 in 2004. According to the 2004-2005 USM Fact Book, the total number of USM freshmen with an ACT score of 31 or higher went from 25 to 26. One would assume that the number of Honor College Freshmen with that score would have to be equal or less than the number of all freshmen with that score.

Someone better take a screen shot of these data quickly before they disappear.

It appears that those who prepared the HA advertisement didn't get their information from the USM Fact Book. Somebody should capture the information on all three of Incredulous' postings today and before the Fact Book information disappears from the USM website.

Does your administration routinely make corrections in documents containing such discrepancies?

Dear Parent,

For an answer to your query you may wish to go to the AAUP website and
click on AAUP Archives. Then click on Enron Revisited.
