I am a local observer,generally sympathetic to the concerns of the USM faculty. What do you think of the performance of the Faculty Senate and of Dr. Becket's performance in this controversy?

David Beckett has done an outstanding job as president of Faculty Senate.  He's stood tall and personally faced administrators when necessary.  This has been another tough year to be a faculty senate leader, and the huge majority of the faculty are proud of him.
