One would expect a letter writing campaign to both the IHL Board and maybe the media as a result of Thursday’s night “area leaders” meeting. One would anticipate letters beginning in Sunday’s paper in preparation for the IHL Board meeting on Wednesday and Thursday.
On the other hand, SFT supporters may have conceded the public relation battle since their letters are so thoroughly rebutted by many responses. They may decided to use their economic and political clout with the IHL Board, similar to what was reported in The Independent as happening to Scott Ross. Of course, as outsiders, this is in violation of SACS principles.
So next week we will either see many Letters to the editor or none if SFT supporters decide to go “underground” and violate SACS principles to save their man, not USM. Faculty should be ready to rebut and continue their letters to both IHL and SACS.

Hmmm, Boy Scout. No Letters to the Editor on the SFT mess in any Sunday paper . No comments or opinions on SFT. Let's see what happens the rest of this week. They may all come out on Wednesday before the IHL meeting.
