Thanks, as always, Robert; I've just forwarded your account to SACS.
By the way, for anyone visiting this board for the first time, there is no better source of information about what has been going on at USM than the series of of "Liberty and Power" accounts written by Robert Campbell. If you REALLY want to get a thoughtful, thorough sense of why so many faculty, staff, community members, and "outsiders" object to Shelby Thames, you would be well advised to read through the archive of RC's accounts.
Robert, can you direct us to a convenient link that will provide easy access to all your past columns for Liberty and Power? I could not find such a link on the main page or in the archives. Thanks!
I could put together an archive of my L and P items on my own website. (L and P archives aren't organized by particular topics or by individual contributors.)

Robert,
Another request, if you don't mind!
I was wondering if you had a post pertaining to the College of Nursing fiasco. Specifically, one that enumerates all of the things that have happened to them since 2002.
I do remember you at least mentioning it in some of your previous L&P postings, but I don't remember if you did a specific post about it.
Once again, thank you for ALL of your thoughtful and insightful posts, both here and at L&P.

Robert,
If you can find the time and energy to do this, it would be much appreciated. You really have essentially written a not-so-small book on the "destructing" of an American university. I suspect that historians of education will take a great interest in this case.

GW,
I haven't done a post on the decline and fall of the College of Nursing. I've known about the situation for a while, but thought that it would be getting coverage in the print media, particularly the Hat Am.
Since that hasn't happened, maybe it's time for me to do an entry on the Nursing program specifically. I'm willing to quote anonymous sources...

Bob:
This L&P blog was really excellent. Don't know how you keep topping one after the other but you manage.
Incidently, I sent this latest "edition" to Dean Pood -- thought it might entice him to pop online and read your others . . . .

Robert, I've tried to give you a start -- see the other thread -- there may be a few that I've missed, but this should give you the majority of your blogs in the current Academic Year (since mid-September 2004).
