There is an AAUP chapter meeting tomorrow at 4:00 in COB. You need not be a member to attend and speak.
At that meeting,we will hear a report on the latest AAUP sound governance survey (the results are in!)
We will also vote on a resolution that will be circulated at the meeting.
We will announce the plans for the April AAUP chapter meeting.
Please plan to attend - everyone is welcome.
Also, there is a faculty meeting today in LAB at 5:00. This, too, is an open meeting and faculty from all colleges are encouraged to attend and learn the latest on the Coca Cola moved meeting.

Amy, has it now been confirmed that the meeting has been moved? Do you know if the letters to Coke HQ had a relation to this?
I do not know if Dr. Lares email resulted in the meeting being moved or not. We can only speculate unless Dr. Lares has received an answer and shares that with us.
My sources only tell me that the meeting has been moved.
I would suppose that since they promised a press release, they will share the information about the meeting being moved, and perhaps the reasons behind the move, with the press. I bet the press will ask!
