Change of place for Thursday's meeting

From a reliable source: Thursday's meeting will NOT be held at Coca-Cola, but at Warren Paving, 562 Elks Lake Road (right off 49 South). An interesting change if true.

Can anyone confirm this change?

Could it be that the Coca-Cola central headquarters, after receiving that letter, put a stop to the local Coke plant as the site for the meeting? Or maybe the local Coca-Cola people decided it was best not to become embroiled in this thing. I'd like to know if the rumor about the change of location is true.

I'd also like to know. Gravel is my game, you know.

My feeling was that 'they' wanted to protect those attending from being identified. Still, we need confirmation of the change.

I hope the reason the change was made (assuming it was) was Coca-Cola's response to the letter(s) that was (were) sent there.  That would be great.

Actually the answer is fairly simple, the coke plant can't sit 250 people.

But Warren Paving can? Could it be that Lawrence and Bonnie Warren are hosting this at their home? I think they live on Elks Lake Road.

maybe it's the Elks Lodge. Next thing we know it'll be at the forrest county multipurpose center or lake terrace convention center.

Stinky, I thought the Moose Lodge - not the Elks Lodge - was on Elks Lake Road. But I may be wrong. I only saw that building once. I can't imagine that either of those places would be the place for the meeting. I would imagine they would choose a place like the Hattiesburg Country Club.

if the location rumors continue, they'll have picketers spread out more thinly than peanut butter on a graduate student's sandwich.

Heard in the Streets --

no disrespect intended but there have been so many false leads being thrown out (as in the false "agenda") that I have to ask . . .

Is there any way you can help the Board to know you are a real source and not another "humorist."? We are wasting a lot of energy being generated on tracking down things that are being put up for entertainment or worse.

Sorry if you are an ally . . . . it is just getting hard to tell on the Board right now.

Thanks.

Stephen,

The best I can do is vouch for the person who provided this information. Not somebody who would be invited, but someone with the connections. I too will try to verify the information.
