It's time individual profs who can substantiate with evidence ie dates, names, events, newsaper clippings, emails etc etc all alledged violations of the SACS principles (the principles are online) should as soon as possible file a SACS complaint. What is the worst the admin can do now? No one is getting a raise anyway, teaching is already abysmal due to lowered standards and overcrowded classrooms and most will be leaving by august. So, it is time for everyone who voted no confidence to file a simple complaint viz a viz your favorite SACS principle violation. Heaven knows there are many to choose from. File now. It does matter. It will help.

Hmm...ruling the university through fear and intimidation, lack of shared governance, a president who belittles faculty, university atmosphere has soured, faculty scared of the president, academic programs eliminated without input from academic councils, and the fact that the president "has made several administrative appointments that 'reflect his personal and professional relationships more than the demonstrated needs of the university.'"

Sounds a lot like USM under Papa Shelboo's rule! Time for faculty members at USM to take pen in hand and write to SACS, I believe.

My, my. This does sound familiar.
