LSU to unveil business measures

Louisiana State University officials will hold a news conference this morning in Baton Rouge to announce a series of measures designed to spur the development of start-up companies in Louisiana. The measures are the result of a study involving faculty and administrators from six LSU system campuses, as well as LSU system officials. The measures are aimed at improving the way LSU campuses interact with businesses and facilitating the formation of companies based on inventions developed by university researchers.
