1. Would someone please post the names of the lawyers currently involved in actual litigation against USM?
2. This information is important for the following reason: anyone who has any tangible, physical evidence of actual misdeeds, memos, emails, recorded conversations and the like should contact one or all of these lawyers with that information. This is crucial because what may seem unrelated or irrelevant or unimportant, though still a flagrant violation of the rules, may well be quite useful to ongoing cases and investigations already on the books with trial dates.
3. If you possess any tangible evidence of misdeeds by this administration from the past three years do contact one of the lawyers currently involved in action against USM so that they may have the ability to subpoena and further investigate what may well prove only too useful.
In case you are wondering this idea occured to me on a long bike ride on the trace. I am in no way related to or even friends with any lawyers. I am not working for them. I just happen to know that all information can be potentially useful to ongoing cases and after all NO QUARTER So please start a thread with lawyer names so that those who have information but do not know what to do with it will have a place to send it. You will not be starting a new case, you will not be spending money, you will remain unknown, but you will be helping the cause immeasurably.

You are absolutely right, but then the people who do this will eventually get a subpoena, be deposed, and probably have to appear in court sooner or later if their information is valuable. Do alot of people really want to go through that?
There is a female attorney in Petal who has made a career out of suing USM. I forget her name, but I am sure she or her secretary would gladly give you the information on lawyers that you are looking for.

Albert,
Isn't it kind of sad that someone can make a career out of successfully suing a university? Doesn't it bother you that USM under Shelby has continually lost such suits (as the minutes of the recent IHL board meeting again confirmed)? Are your tax dollars well spent by having a president who, through his gross incompetence and mismanagement, makes such suits routinely possible and routinely successful? If Shelby is so convinced of the rightness and legality of his decisions, why doesn't he offer to pay the settlements himself if the suits are successful? Think how much taxpayers' money this would save over the years.
Kim Chaze is the main one, as just about everybody knows. Information about actual criminal wrongdoing should probably be passed on to law enforcement, though if it was me I'd go for the FBI first, and maybe the IRS.
Kim Chaze is open for discussion - he charges no initial fee and might be very agreeable in tabulating the wrongs. It might be a great avenue for piecing information together. He's quite an expert on the subject, even more so since SFT became president.

Well, actually, most of Kim's lawsuits were filed before Thames got here, and alot of those were discrimination-type suits that had nothing to do with the president at all. In fact, I don't know of any filed by Kim Chaze since Thames got here. What has Kim done since Thames became president?
I like the fact that Albert and others are latching on to this thread. It proves how important it is. Do not be fooled or scared. There is no reason whatsoever to think that information you may have of anything untoward in the past three years will involve you directly in any ongoing litigation against usm. Any information you have is just that information. If you say you dont want to be involved you wont be. Albert will try to scare you only because he and the administration is scared to death of real lawyers, especially federal cases outside of their own little cabal. Further, ongoing litigation is already just that: ongoing. You cant stop it but you sure can help it along! So please not only is it free but it is totally without risk. If you have concrete information find the current lawyers involved in current litigation and give it to them. The lawyers are trained to know what is useful what is not; they know how to connect dots etc. All you have to do is give them whatever dots you happen to know about. In fact, simply telling them where to look via a subpoena would be helpful. So, fear not. You need pay nothing, you need not be involved. But if you have information by all means send it along. You can be sure Albert etc will respond to this to scare you away. That will only prove my point. There is no risk to us. But there is a lot of risk to those who arg getting rich off the public interest.
