The Crystal Ball has grown dark...very dark. I can only see a pyramid of beer cans through the haze.

This one is really disappointing. Not just the loss, but the margin. The Eagles fall to 10-13 on the season and head to Cincy for the next game. Too bad there's not a mercy rule in college basketball.

Well, Larry Eustachy certainly has taken USM basketball to the next level -- just not the level everyone assumes when they hear the phrase. I think he's taking his cues from Shelby, who's already taken USM (down) to an all-new tier.

We forgot to report in our previous post that another Eagle has left the team, this time it's Sam Richardson. Looks like another one was just not "into" the Man himself.

Pat Conroy wrote a book called, "My Losing Season". Conroy played at the Citadel for a psycho coach similar to Larry Eustachy. It made for good reading, but you really felt for the kids who had to put up with the insanity.
