I've worked at all over the map. There are fools, idiots and dangerously scary people in every one of those places. The best thing to do with this idiot is for the media to ignore him.

By the way, troll, the art of the unstated assumption is very clever -- you are good. (USM's faculty causes the problems. Uh-huh.) You're not a pro by any chance, are you??

You think that Ward Churchill is a fruitloop - ergo - All USM professors are fruitloops?

Ward Churchill "causes problems" for his school - ergo - All faculty members cause problems for thier respective schools?

I'm very busy but I can't restrain myself any longer. I must comment on Ward Churchill. I'm relatively well attuned to the goings-on at CU, and I can report to you that Churchill has long been a figure of controversy in Boulder, and not because of his most recent idiotic statements, but because of his questionable academic credentials and background. Check him out. He's a fraud by any yardstick. No terminal degree in any discipline, undergrad and master's degrees in art (absolutely no formal education in "ethnic studies") from a small state college in Illinois, not even a native American, as he has claimed. A singularly undistinguished, and I might add pompous and obnoxious, individual, masquerading as an academic. Hell, Ken Malone is more qualified to teach economic development than Churchill is to teach ethnic studies. The guy is and has long been an embarrassment to CU, and many of us are wondering who's a$$ he kissed to attain the tenured, full professorship at a tier-1 university. I daresay that there is no faculty member at USM who even approaches Churchill in either lack of credentials or "fruitloopiness." I repeat. No one. Not even close.

This logic reminds me of a bumper sticker I once saw: "I KNOW THAT GOD IS A TARHEEL BECAUSE HE PAINTED THE SKY CAROLINA BLUE."
