who are these people:   kelli booth, mrs. krandall howell, jill beneke?  what does "no quarter" mean?    I still voted for Joan Exline.  She always looks like she wants to be first on his dance card.

It's from a quote (can someone find the thread that explains the quote and its origins?) that basically means that as long as SFT (the tyrant) is in the Dome, we will give him "no quarter"--no place to rest his weary little tyrant head. It became the slogan du jour last spring right before graduation, I believe.

I'm sure someone else can find the exact quote for us...I've got to take the little Truth to school right now!

NO QUARTER. Just give 'em your

If you "boil" a penny for 9 seconds in concentrated nitric acid, it will be approximately the size of a dime. (This has about a 10-15% failure rate, but you'll still come out ahead.)

As a student, I discovered that for three cents, I could buy a 25-cent pack of chips (oh, those were the days!) & get a nickel change, thus coming out with the proverbial

Shortly after my colleagues & I made this breakthrough discovery, all the vending machines in Johnson Tower were rekeyed to not accept dimes...

Dear Elections Moderator:


I hope you sincerely keep your daytime job because you really are BAD at selecting candidates for an election!!


There should have only been 3 names on the ballot:  Lisa Mader, Dana Thames and Cynthia Moore.


My vote is LM the most incopetent of the group who still has here job and got a whopper of a raise for nothing.

I'm not sure...I know it happened around May of last year...right before graduation.  I remember lots of conversations about handing Shelboo a quarter at the grad. ceremonies.  Also, there were NO QUARTER buttons that were printed up (I still have mine!).  Maybe someone else can remember...
