Nice article in C/L today about MUW rebuilding from storm damage. BUT notice the academic reorganization explanation. Input from faculty, etc. and support from the entire campus. Very specific to say this was NOT to save money or to hurt anyone. Maybe after the turmoil several years ago and the dismissal of a autocratic president things do indeed get better for a university. USM also had an article about campus lighting! Ms Mader says everyone is very interested in the appearance of our campus. __________________

As someone predicted here a couple of weeks ago, Mader's "beautification" story was inevitable. Watch for more when the blacktopping is done. Perhaps as spring unfolds we can get a newsflash every time a pothole gets filled or a toilet cleaned? That Mader, what a gal! Worth every penny of $77,000 - or more. __________________
