I respect Dr. Thames and have supported him in the past and still do.
But (this always means I am going to change my mind) for the past two or three years there has been little good news out of USM. The college board (IHL) is very willing to allow this to continue. The UM and MSU loyalty groups are laughting their butts off and wanting this to go on and one, or until the school just collaspes due to the in fighting.
Maybe, with only one year on the contract left and being almost 70 years old Dr. Thames can do something to help the school. Just say, "At my age I can't see myself staying much longer and the IHL should begin the process of looking for a new President. I will remain as long as needed or until the end of my contract, which ever is the longest.
Please Dr. Thames this can not contiue and I for realize that the anti-T bunch is not the majority, but your supporters have not been vocal enough to defend you. For the good of USM, which I love with all my heart; please set this in motion.
