I jusy got back from teaching my first class since last March. It felt very comfortable, like I'd never taken a breather. I've got 15 students in a room that holds 18. Two are just out of high school and two are Air Force types from Kessler. The rest are in their 20's or 30's and employed. Some are married and some have children. A representative of Waldenbooks set up a table in the lobby and gave 20% off list on text books. It was a good night.

I am glad that you had such a great night.  Those students are very lucky to have one of the best professors in the South teaching them.  All the best!

FG,

Happy to hear you are doing well and doing what you enjoy most; teaching.  Our campus community misses you, your insight and sage advice.  Your leadership could be used, especially during the “SACs”-ing foul-up by this administration.

Hey Frank! Glad it went well. I'm sure it will continue to. For me, the most fun part about teaching now is that I'm so much happier without the USM-related stress. I can just teach
and not worry about who is breathing down my neck. You, more than anybody, deserve to be having a great time teaching! Cheers!

Hmmm... More like riding a motorcycle, really, isn't it?

Glad to hear it went well. Good luck with the semester. Give me a shout when you're heading south for classes sometime.

Hey Frank, glad your able to hold your head high these days.  Following Hudson as you did really did not pay-off did it?

I hope you can continue in good conscious and not pollute the minds of others as you did here.  If you just stick to your job and WORK maybe you will not have to lie the next time your follow the wrong teachings of another.

Why Answer Stupid Postings such as yours?

Because someone needs to tell you to knock it off!

Never forget that the LIAR was my namesake, the less-than-esteemed Ms. Dvorak.

<sarcasm> Wow, WASP, you are so brave to attack a man who posts here under his own name with your anonymous posting!  </sarcasm>

Go back under your rock, troll...

This is rich. Glamser is now teaching at Tulane, right?  A school with much better accademic reputation than USM. If that is not vindication, I don't know what is.

This is so over-the-top it cannot be the work of a true troll.  It's a parody, right?

Hi, Frank! It's good to hear that you're back in the classroom and enjoying yourself.

I've been talking with Gary off and on, as you may have been too (no doubt you guys are the rough equivalent of war buddies!), and he is doing great too. Texas A&M treats him like the prince of a scholar that he is.

We miss you guys, but are glad beyond expression that you've found fine places to land.

Take care--
(and NO QUARTER!)
Anne

It was posted by our old pal "WASP," so yes, it was a troll. Go back & count the spelling errors.

(WASP may not think of itself as a troll, but that's what it is.)

Hi Frank,

Great to hear you are back on that bike. I hope they have more than one classroom because I will need one too.  Make room for me.  I'm planning on getting there before the stampede from USM, but I'm afraid I'm running late.  Of course I still need to get that house on the bayou and the boat, unless Tulane supplies their profs with these perks.

Ray

Ray....you can't leave.  It's going to be the year of physics!  And what would the Payne Center do without you?
