I invite the university community to join me in congratulating the entire faculty, staff, and administration (and the students) in the professional education program for its receiving a "clean bill of health" with accolades from the NCATE visiting team. It has been a long and, sometimes difficult, five years; however, I never doubted that this faculty would be successful, and that they would receive the honor it deserves. My hats off to Dr. Maulding, Dr. Turnage, Debbie Stoullig (she'll be Dr. before too much longer) and to all the rest of saw this through to a very successful end.

Congratulations and thank you to Willie Pierce.  Others helped us along the way but Dean Pierce deserves the greatest accolades. 
Best wishes to old friends in ELR and the College of E & P.
