you might be a little, redneck university if......


you are just as likely to hire your own PhD graduates in faculty positions as you are those from other schools....


your 5'2" administration lies about your enrollment because it wants to be the largest university in the state....


a convicted felon sits in your President's office and defends the actions of your wayward president to media outlets.....


the SACS visitation team travels to your campus with armed guards for probation meetings because your President's friends/associates are very frightening....


most of your faculty/staff is simply "workin' for the weekend"....


your President ever uses the phrase "I will leave no stone unturned on Hardy Street" in reference to administrative changes he hopes to make over time....

I can only figure the "convicted felon" reference is to Paul "Bud" Holmes, an outspoken supporter of SFT.  In the late 1980s, Holmes was involved in matters that led to the eventual impeachment of Federal Judge Walter Nixon.  I honestly don't remember if Holmes was ever convicted of anything.  I do think he was disbarred.
