"Board members also voted to hire an outside consultant to help USM and the College Board monitor USM's progress in correcting deficiencies found by SACS. USM will foot the bill."
Let's see - what outside consultant would know things about SACS, and about USM, and would be a terrific help?
The engineer may have been asleep at the throttle when the train derailed, but it's going to take a lot more than just him to put it back on the tracks.

Surely you jest. There is only one individual in the known universe who possesses the towering intellect and administrative savvy to lead USM out of this SACS accreditation quagmire. And, fortunately for USM she's already on the scene--Dr. Dr. Angie Dvorak. After all, she is a mover, a shaker, a wurl' class deal maker. Rub A Dub Dub.
You're right, ram - this is a better discussion. Religion is left to those who - in a public forum - say that they're praying to their good Lord.
Once again, the taxpayers are left footing a bill for Shelby's missteps. The trip to Atlanta alone will be some extra cash out since I doubt he's staying at the Super 8 there. As taxpayers, can we find out how much he spends on this little side trip to Atlanta?????
We can chachink that to the 500,000 already linked to "fixing it".
For Christmas, I'd like to have a banquet of Fire Shelby and all the "fixins".
