Wasn't Jay Grimes the original Provost in Hattiesburg when the SACS problems started?  Where does he fit in the mix.  His public statements don't seem to inspire great confidence.

Was Grimes ever in the loop about SACS accreditation?


The Provost would be anywhere else... but we're talking about USM under Shelby Thames.
